A vintage Le Creuset design refreshed for modern kitchens, the enameled cast iron Alpine Wood Handle Fry Pan is a versatile pan for everything from searing and sautéing, to pan frying, stovetop casseroles and more. Sloped sides make it easy to stir sauces and flip crepes, while exceptional heat distribution and retention ensures food is cooked to perfection. The black satin enamel interior eliminates the need for the traditional seasoning and maintenance of raw cast iron – the enamel develops a natural patina over time making it virtually non-stick and easy to clean. Sebastian E. ★★★★★

Cooked a full week of dinners in this and the wooden handle never once got hot enough to need a mitt, which surprised me. The cast iron holds heat like a champ for pan frying, and cleanup is just a quick rinse since the enamel doesn't stain.

Benjamin ★★★★☆

The wooden handle stays cool enough to grip mid-sear, which is a nice touch over the usual metal ones. Enameled cast iron heats evenly across the base, though it's heavier than my old pan so I'm still adjusting to the wrist workout. Solid daily driver for stovetop sautés.

Ellie ★★★★☆

The wooden handle stays completely cool while I’m searing, which is a nice upgrade from my old all-metal pan. It heats evenly and the enamel surface cleans up easily, though I wish it was a touch lighter to handle when full.
