I usually only use the griddle for breakfast stuff, but last night I threw a couple of ribeyes on it and the sear was perfect since it fits right over two burners without hogging the whole stovetop. The flat surface is a real space-saver when I slide it into the oven to keep things warm, too.
The flat surface sears burgers evenly with a proper crust, and the square corners actually make flipping and sliding food off way easier than my old round pan. Takes up less space on the burner too, so I can run the kettle at the same time without juggling.
