Used it for a slow-cooked stew this weekend and the even heat distribution was impressive, nothing scorched on the bottom. The generous capacity meant I could fit a whole chicken plus veggies without crowding, and cleanup was quick since the surface wiped right down.

The round bottom makes stirring and scraping sauces effortless, and it’s deep enough that I’ve braised a whole chicken without splattering the stovetop. Cleanup is just a quick soak, which honestly surprised me for something this heavy-duty.

I've had this cassadou for about six months now and it's become my go-to for everything from braised chicken to baking bread, the wide surface area makes searing so much easier than my old Dutch oven. Cleanup is a breeze too, though I do wish the lid were a touch lighter to lift one-handed.
