The stoneware is surprisingly sturdy and holds heat well, so my soft-boiled egg stays warm while I eat. I’ve also used it for a tiny herb pot on the windowsill, and it looks charming on the counter.
I use mine every morning for soft-boiled eggs, and the depth is just right for a large egg. The ceramic feels sturdy and the classic shape looks nice enough to leave out on the table.
Tiny thing, but the glaze is so smooth and the little handles make it easy for my kids to grab. I've been using one for desserts and another for sprouting basil seeds, and both work perfectly.
