I was skeptical the magnet would hold, but it clamps onto the oven door so firmly I can slide the 8-inch acacia wood disk around with one hand to catch steam or set a pot down instantly. Cleanup is just a quick wipe, and the wood hasn't shown a single scorch mark yet.

The magnet is so strong the trivet snaps right onto my oven handle and keeps itself out of the way until I need it for a hot pot. The acacia wood feels solid and the 8-inch size fits most of my cookware without any wobble.

The acacia wood grain looks even better in person than in the photos, and the magnet holds firm enough that I can just slap it on the fridge when I'm done. The 8-inch size is perfect for my medium pots, and I love that I don't have to hunt for a hot pad mid-cooking.
